Life lessons are opportunities and they are presented every moment and without fail. We are in life, undoubtedly so, we have a body and life happens constantly and all around us.
Tanya Curtis, Senior Behaviour Specialist and founding director of FABIC Behaviour Specialist Centre, explains that our lessons in life are part of the bigger classroom of life and they present us with many opportunities to develop, advance, evolve and self-master parts of life we may not yet have self-mastered. Every one of these opportunities is what we call a life lesson.
These lessons in life don’t have to be big or overwhelming, although some can certainly feel that way. They can be as simple as taking the next step as we face forward and deal with what is in front of us – one step at a time, no matter its size. With self-responsibility and commitment to life these steps become manageable and we can then look forward to developing and mastering our life lessons.
