Poster 46 – Learning New Skills
$10.00 – $120.00
This chart highlights the natural consequences that occur (i.e. learning new skills) when we are willing to practise and make mistakes
How do we learn new skills? And is it true that practice makes perfect?
At FABIC we know that there is no perfection and we also know that with commitment to life and to our lessons in the classroom of life, we keep PRACTISING NEW SKILLS all the time. And while we practise we MAKE MISTAKES … of course!
And what do we do then? We just KEEP PRACTISING, MAKE SOME MORE MISTAKES and KEEP PRACTISING – until it is time to learn a new skill and start all over again: we PRACTISE, MAKE MISTAKES and PRACTISE SOME MORE.
A great addition to this chart is the Sunlight Ink Children’s book Whoops ! … What Can We Learn Here? and A4 poster, both available from FABIC.
This chart and the material mentioned support defeating the bane that is perfectionism.
