Fabic has recently welcomed Occupational Therapist, Annie to their clinical team. Annie provides services to both adults and children and will be offering sessions from the Fabic clinic in Worongary as well as at client’s schools, childcare centres, homes and other relevant settings.
Annie is able to support both children and adults in the following areas:
- Function in daily living tasks
- Sensory processing
- Play skills
- Social Skills
- Classroom/Kindergarten participation
- Participating in activities and routines at home
- Transitioning between activities and settings
- Fine and gross motor abilities
- Muscle tone
- Handwriting
- Emotional regulation
- Seating and other equipment needed to facilitate participation in life
- Cognitive assessment and re-training
- Mental health issues including: stress, anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, eating disorders
Annie can also offer specific services for children and adults with developmental and neurological difficulties such as:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Cerebral palsy
- Down Syndrome
- Learning and developmental delays
- Dyspraxia
- Traumatic brain injury
- Stroke
- Foetal alcohol syndrome
- Intellectual disability
