Eva, together with her partner, is raising two Autistic young boys and knows what it is like to not have the right or any support in place. She understands the impact this has on the wellbeing of the whole family – may that be mentally, physically or emotionally. She soon realised that finding the right services was basically a full time job on top of managing and supporting her family. Eva has been working as a support coordinator for the past 2 years and is now training to diverse her skills from support coordination into supporting participants with lasting behaviour change. Through Tanya Curtis and Fabic, Eva has seen how behaviour support can provide a participant and their family with lasting behaviour change. Each step and skill may be small but Eva realises the impact that each of these steps has on the participant and families’ lives. Turning exhaustion and overwhelm into having the space to be settled and see the big picture. Through her support coordination business Eva has witnessed the lack of skilled professionals to support participants through this process and would like to be offering this service to those facing similar situations and would benefit from everything she has learnt to date. Small changes bring about big changes and Eva wants to support more participants to achieve exactly that.
