An example of how to fill in a behaviour rating scale where supporter and Aimée herself are offered an opportunity to communicate and discuss how each rate the behaviour in the classroom.
This is a BEHAVIOUR RATING SCALE for Aimée in the classroom.
On the right, under NON-PREFFERED or THUMBS DOWN BEHAVIOUR, is a list of how Aimée used to behave in the past. On the left she is shown how she is expected to behave, the PREFERRED or THUMBS UP BEHAVIOUR, if she wants to sit with the rest of the class the next day.
In this case, rating 1 on the chart allows Aimée to join the class and rating 2 is left open to be agreed upon.
Note that the supporter and Aimée herself are offered an opportunity to communicate and discuss how each rate the behaviour in the classroom on this occasion.
